@shanedkavanaugh From a campaign standpoint, volunteer and financial resources are thin from both a lot of candidates as well as ranked choice removing the us vs them frame that can be a big motivator in bringing in both. Nobody is knocking cuz there is nobody to knock, we wouldn’t skip you

Had a good chat with @PDXStResponse responders yesterday. One was a lifelong Portlander. He had never seen the city as bad as it has been in recent years.

He worried about enablement and noted the large number of out-of-staters he runs into in unsanctioned campsites...drawn to M110 and Portland's reputation as a sanctuary for those with warrants/criminal priors.

We agreed on quite a bit. Need to change the reality and the perception of Portland streets.
