Chest drain tube is finally out, dad doing well. Ordered to rest for an hour, so he's watching golf and listening to sermons.

Dad doing really well today, but wants to go home! Looks like he may get to go home tomorrow. Keep praying!

Dad continues to improve, but still may have another 2 days in here until fluid from chest is low enough to go home.

Vitals good and dad resting well this afternoon. Probably not coming home today, still has small amount of fluid draining from chest cavity.

Blood pressure is approaching normal, heart rate is good; pretty good night. Thanks for continuing prayers! Don't know when he goes home yet

Dad improved quite a bit last night. We were able to get him a private room, he was able to sleep.

Dad recovering well, but slower (than he wants), he'll be in the hospital for another couple of days to make sure he continues to heal right

Dad's doing okay this morning, still hard for him to get sleep here, but he's sleeping now.

Dad's continuing to improve gradually, but good. Pain seems to be managed better (don't make him laugh).

Dad just went for a stroll down the hallway, doing good, just got another pain med

Dad's stable and well, still being monitored but is fine (ever try to sleep in a hospital? Good grief)
