Only 1 down escalator from G/Y NB to the B/O/S platform at L’Enfant this morning. One guy, frustrated with the crowd, pressed the emergency stop button on the center escalator and used it. Pretty brazen, but the crowd quickly followed. #wmata

Crazy car chase just now in Navy Yard! A car that looked like it was missing a tire, since sparks were flying out from one wheel, was chased around the neighborhood by about a dozen police cars. I didn’t manage to record the chase, but I saw the car after it stopped or crashed.

@wmata With the Navy Yard west entrance closed for the time being, it can be difficult to enter the station on the east side in the mornings due to the crowds exiting. Could you dedicate one or two of the faregates as entrance-only in the mornings?

Almost hit crossing the street in Navy Yard, DC by a federal officer who rolled through a stop sign and failed to signal her right turn. She was on her cell phone, probably out of boredom due to the notable lack of “bedlam and squalor” here in DC. I yelled, “TURN SIGNAL!” #FreeDC

@wmataGM While incidents like this AM are frustrating and people love to complain, I thought Metro was much more open than usual. I had to offload from 2 trains, and both operators were frank, frequent, and apologetic about the situation. Thanks for all you do to improve Metro!

@wmata I arrived at Arlington Cemetery station before the posted closing time and last trains, around 6:45 PM, only to find the station gates already closed. Why is the station closed prematurely? Now I’m stranded. 🙁

@NianticHelp I had just defeated a Kyurem in a raid and started the encounter to catch it. Then the game crashed (as it has been doing a lot this weekend), and when it reopened, the raid had expired, so I lost the Pokemon (which was an XXS one) and a premium battle pass. :-(
