@designfuree @Freeyourmindkid Wrong lesson? Seems like the right lesson. At least if part of the goal is to win back working class white and Latino men.
@prolezone@TweetN4ABeatN That's a part of it, but I strongly believe that she lost a lot of Latino support on the trans issue. Not talking about me personally, but a lot of people unfortunately.
@prolezone How many times did we see that recording of her talking about gender affirming care for prisoners. Couple that with the admittedly great line she's for they/them..
And there you have it. Hard to distance yourself from things you've actually said not that long ago.
@oliviaak@Capa800@InstantSunrise a practice or institution that treats or recognizes some human beings as the legal property of others.
No mention there of being forced to work. You could be a slave and not actually be forced to work. On the flipside, you can be forced to work and not be someone's property.
@oliviaak@Capa800@InstantSunrise Silly goose. Why would I speak to people who have experienced involuntary servitude as part of their sentence when the point was about people who have experienced ACTUAL slavery finding your comparison insulting? Makes no sense, silly!
@oliviaak@Capa800@InstantSunrise Minimum wage?! For a prisoner? Next thing you know you'll be advocating for gender affirming care for prisoners too. Wild positions like this are why we lose elections.
