Voting by Sask teachers on the Moe/Cockrill “final offer” did not conclude until 6 pm on May 9. Results were not known until later that evening.

Jeremy Cockrill wrote his statement of disappointment in the results on May 8, the day before voting even concluded.

If I was a betting man I would put money on a bet that the Moe/Cockrill play in the current bargaining with teachers is invoking this section of the Saskatchewan Employment Act. A supervised vote of the government’s last offer. If so, teachers should reject it.

As @jeremycockrill has stated (and we agree!), the best deals are negotiated at the table as part of the bargaining process.

Although government now openly acknowledges there are complexity concerns in schools, it refuses to make any commitments where it can be held accountable.
