“It grows inside like a hidden deformity.
Smiles on the outside.
Desperation within unstoppable insatiable.
Why can't we see it in each other?
We could keep sorrow at bay.
Broken hearts in broken hands.
We could take your pain away.
It shouldn't have to be this way.”
there are many images, but these two juxtaposed together really moves me as a millennial, they leave you with a sense of sorrowful mastery in a way, at what point did these two reflect upon their lives? how close are they to you or me?
@bambooney Yeah yeah, totally random to execute a White Kindergarten student for driving his bike on your lawn by shooting him point blank in front of his siblings.
@MarinaFellenz @RevDaniel@RoseKalemba You don’t know me. You live in Canada. I don’t ask to be special or have anyone to Lord over, I just want to live in peace. How many home invasions have you personally experienced? Have your family members been brutally raped because they’re White? Tell me more about privilege.
@MarinaFellenz @RevDaniel@RoseKalemba Definitely don’t look how Africans are butchering each other with machetes these days because they come from another country. If that’s not genocide I don’t know what is, but they’re black so nobody pays attention. Swastika in a college? That makes the news.
@sourface14 @wayotworld It’s insane to have the term “minority” thrown around to apply to black and brown people when Whites are eight percent of the global population.
@somefellow6 I will try not wearing a mask in my locality this weekend. I expect serious hostility. I’ve had enough. Life is not worth living if you can’t even smile at another human being. Complied thus far but I have my limits. Enough is enough.
