@CalicKitty of course!! and just cuz this book series is my lifeblood, I have to say that if you end up enjoying the story, I’d recommend checking out the book series or its tv adaptation, both titled his dark materials! regardless, I hope u enjoy :>
@CalicKitty no worries!! this is from the 2007 film adaptation of the golden compass :) it’s a meh adaptation but nicole played the hell out of this role!!
I think a lot of people are in denial about brienne’s unattractiveness because they hold the bias that ugly people inherently have less value or dignity
🦁🩸 lola glaudini as cersei lannister IS real and she WILL save you (and sneer at you)
thank you to my beloved @SweetSkullScrib for making my dreams come true. you always see the vision 🫶🫶
@vanda1ia subconsciously grasping onto some form of hope or control when there is none. she breaks the rock, sure, but I don’t think it’s the same as choosing a new path for herself. thus, she’s still trapped
@vanda1ia maybe it did at one point, but everyone there is under its spell. I kinda think Phil’s scenes watching the cams or with his family happen in the rooms, and he only processes them by choosing to believe he can leave or exist outside them anymore and mary is now in the same boat,
I was drawn into the movie beyond nicole (the primary reason I got into it really was its criticism of the catholic church, something I needed while questioning by own faith) however I can’t deny that part of the reason I stopped to look in the first place was cuz she looked good
