@ATocksin@NYPDnews@nyknicks yes closed and still plenty of space for thousands along sidewalks and in their 'pens'. the nypd didnt give a crap that there was wasted space and easier to just say too bad
@logical_veritas@NYPDnews@nyknicks They didnt need them for the 2 giants parades or yankees parades. The pens and barricades created more bottle necks, angry fans, and dangerous situations. also inconvienienced thousands and caused them to miss the parade when plenty of room on sidewalks and side streets closer
@logical_veritas@NYPDnews@nyknicks the peace was kept at the yankee and giants parades with over a million in attendance and way more people got to see the parade up close, there were no pens, no timed entry, and no barricades keeping people blocks away from the parade for no reason. over policing BS
@RealGarryC@NYPDnews the viewing pens is what ruined it. Past parades could show up at anytime and claim a spot and fill the sidewalks and side streets. No issues. Now so much wasted empty space with good views of parade that deprived thousands and ruined their day
@YoungBigMek@NYPDnews look at all that space up the street where people could have been and gotten a good view. WTF the nypd ruined the day for so many
@AvidHiker33@ChiSportsSicko@NYPDnews NYC has done so already with the yankees. 2-3 million attended. there were no pens and much better run. The pens just caused chaos
@ATocksin@NYPDnews@nyknicks and there was plenty of room along the sidewalks on Broadway and in their 'pens' while watching the parade. So many more could have been up close. The nypd doesnt give a shit. bunch of brain dead idiots
@tribecalor@gianuhhh@kdub159@NYPDnews where am i arguing for the police? I think all the rules are stupid and they didnt have them for the yankees and giants parades. if you cant get a babysitter thats life. sometimes responsibilities with kids prevent you from doing things. cope
