I think what's the most annoying/insidious part of this is we can make assumptions but what does this actually mean? Did it help code? (AI usually doesnt code as well as humans), generate text? Did it generate placeholder art? (Still bad, pay your concept artists) This isnt clear

@TheAkimiSato Probably wouldn't be as much of an issue if we didn't only get 4 characters or balance was good. Tbh I like that they are bringing newcomers. But yeah there's plenty that don't like guests when to them they could've just added a returning character. Im overall indifferent.

Regarding the #SWC2026 Qualifier Slots for KOF XV and SAMURAI SHODOWN:

After careful internal consideration in response to the community's feedback, we have decided to increase the amount of qualifier slots to 32 for KOF XV and 16 for SAMURAI SHODOWN.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV：16 slots → 32 slots

SAMURAI SHODOWN：8 slots → 16 slots

Note: Due to the increase in slots, rules regarding tiebreakers will be updated and communicated at a later date.
