@DpdDeliverySpt has got to be the worst kafkaesque example of mechanised services that don’t work. We’ve paid to have a parcel picked up. They claim there was nothing to collect, now trapped in a loop on phone, can’t speak to anyone. Nightmare. Not worth the money saved.
Just listening to David Yelland trying to wriggle out of his complicity in phone hacking. Apparently he never asked journalists at The Sun what their sources were when he was, um, EDITOR. BBC not an appropriate platform for this. Slimy. @BBCR4Feedback
This is how ridiculous sentencing for environment protestors is. It’s plainly wrong if violence and even robbery are treated less seriously. Environment protesting is an act of conscience. Our laws have been perverted to create these extreme punishments for peaceful protest. The Tories have been kicked out, let’s get rid of their twisted laws too.
The Arcadia stage at Glastonbury this weekend was a milestone... We powered the whole Arcadia field for the first time using the biggest festival batteries we’ve ever built. These batteries were specifically designed for outdoor events to replace diesel generators. This is going to be a game changer in how we power festivals...:)
"The government have actively avoided looking for evidence Russia interfered."
The Intelligence & Security Committee's Stewart Hosie said the government didn't investigate alleged Russian interference in the Brexit vote, and no one wanted to touch this "with a ten-foot pole".
The fact is that Russian interference is staring us in plain sight. Russian TV hugely boosted Farage's public standing by giving him dozens of appearances, and without Farage, Brexit would not have happened. Brexit was the result of a successful Russian influence operation.
Please retweet if you want a Starmer government to set up an inquiry into Russian interference in the Brexit referendum.
You’ll be shocked to learn Nigel Farage is using me as a punchbag at today’s rally.
Of course he is. It was my trial established the facts of Arron Banks’s relationship with the Russian ambassador.
Will Labour finally commit to investigating foreign interference in our politics?
Conspicuous by omission: ‘Serious discussion about the climate crisis, reforming taxation and funding public services are also taboo for the two main parties.’ Totally agree. https://t.co/25kb5SOer1
If everyone who wants The Conversatives out on the 4th of July follows and retweets we'll reach a million by midnight and have a much bigger voice for the next six weeks.
Sewage on our beaches, pollution in our rivers, nature in collapse. Enough is enough. Our communities deserve better.
I just showed my support for a new Act that would enshrine our right to a healthy environment in law – will you join me? https://t.co/RoYEZ1Mpve
Also the assumption that because of the way he looks and the fact he isn’t an in-yer-face extrovert means he is automatically an underdog feels kind of patronising.
Not sure how I feel about #joshmustwin. The hosts kept insisting it proves an ‘underdog’ can win; but only, it seems, if the game is manipulated from behind the scenes. Maybe the message isn’t quite as positive as they keep telling us.
