On my last trip down, I made my way to 13 Gypsies, Beirut Restaurant, Dockside Seafood Restaurant and House Italian Cuisine. Each one brought something different to the table, and all four are worth adding to your Jacksonville list.

I just put an ICE agent in his place in a very serious way

I was pulling my Ford Taurus into a parking spot at Hardee’s when I accidentally scraped the side of a black SUV, leaving a sizable scratch and dent. The SUV looked like shit and had an Auburn sticker on it, so I didn’t think it was a big deal

As I was ordering my coffee, an ICE agent approached me and said he saw me hit his vehicle. I of course denied it and told him it was a violation of the 5th Amendment and HIPPA for him to ask me. He then asked for my ID and proof of insurance. At that point, this stormtrooper had crossed the line.

“I certainly will not provide any proof of citizenship, Sergeant Brownshirt,” I said. “I haven’t had a drivers license in five years, so the Constitution is the only proof anything you’re going to get.”

I took my coffee, calmly strode out of the restaurant without paying, got in my Taurus, and sped away

I received a standing ovation.
