So the Unterhaching fans threw the flares on the pitch and the referee didn't stop play. Surely the Man City goal shouldn't have stood. Even if it wasn't in the way it definitely distracted the Bayern players.

To get this right: the flares in the colors of SpVgg Unterhaching were thrown from outside the stadium. This was confirmed by the stewards.

The referee should have stopped the match before the goal was scored. The flares had already been on the ground for some time.

Bunny Shaw's penalty saved was big, but Bayern couldn't hold on and conceded late. They looked suspect in defense the more City controls midfield. Momo: she's great whether defensive midfield or when she comes further forward. She even couldhave scored. Classy.

Belated analysis: Bayern should have won. They dominated first half, nice first goal by Gwinn. Casparij own goal, what the hell was she doing? Surely Risa would have done better. Bayern conceded at end of half which gave Man City momentum. Subs changed game.
