@sandbox86 I liked the bulletin board suggestions and examples in the article. Students would be motivated to read books their friends like

[dahart @dahart112]

@ltulak1 Have the students look up the definitions but instead of copying it, the students should paraphrase the def. in their own words.

[dahart @dahart112]

@ltulak1 Try having the students pick out words they don't know in the class readings. Then use these words to create the next voc. list.

Loved my classmates elevator pitches. Lots of great ideas and videos. Great job!!

I am really liking these mobile app assignments. They are both interesting and thought provoking. I wish they could be produced for us.

@jwrayKSU
That is interesting information. As a special needs teacher, any help for Students with ADHD that doesn't require meds is great.

[dahart @dahart112]

@ltulak1 have you tried using a word wall? My husband does this every year with his students.

[dahart @dahart112]

Love this new assignment of proposing an app that would meet the needs of my students. Wish that someone would really make it

[dahart @dahart112]

Thanks to those who commented my groups proposal. I especially liked the proposal with the crime scene scenario. I would like to do this too

[dahart @dahart112]

I'm looking for someone to work with on the group project. Is anyone interested?

[dahart @dahart112]

Hey everyone. I am looking forward to learning how to create a Webquest. I've used them with my students before and they have worked well.

[dahart @dahart112]

@Marsebaby22 if you have any gifted students it may be a way to provide some challenging supplemental information.

[dahart @dahart112]

@lprazer1 sounds great. Our administration has been encouraging us to do cross-curricular lessons. Let me know how it goes.

[dahart @dahart112]

I'm looking forward to trying a podcast with my students. The one I am making for class is on the Bill of Rights.

[dahart @dahart112]

@Catlin_Tucker @ltulak1 Exactly textbooks, worksheets, and notes will never excite these kids.
We need to meet our students where they are.

[dahart @dahart112]

@ltulak1 I'm not using them yet. I need to become more comfortable with the technology first

[dahart @dahart112]

@ltulak1 hi Lindsey. Are you currently using wikis or blogs in your classroom?

[dahart @dahart112]

This is my first time using Twitter. Hi to all of my classmates.
