The North Toledo chemical leak involves a 5,500-gallon tank containing glycidyl methacrylate, a flammable industrial chemical. Nearly 1,000 residents were evacuated within a 1-mile radius, while people within 3 miles were ordered to shelter in place.

Hazmat crews have been keeping their distance because of the explosion risk. One sheriff's deputy has reportedly sought medical attention after the incident.

🚨 AI-POWERED BANK CYBERATTACKS ARE GETTING OUT OF CONTROL.

A hacking group called CyberCartel reportedly targeted over 400 financial targets across Latin America using AI agents powered by Claude, Grok and China's Moonshot AI.

According to cybersecurity firm Straiker, these automated attacks included successful breaches of financial institutions.

The exact number of breaches and financial losses remains unknown.

Hackers can now automate attacks on hundreds of financial targets, raising the risk of widespread data theft and serious disruptions to banking services.

🚨#UPDATE: FIREFIGHTERS HAVE FAILED TO SEAL THE CHEMICAL LEAK IN NORTH TOLEDO.

Attempts to contain the release were unsuccessful. The tank has been compromised, and officials say the chemical inside is continuing to react.

Rather than risk putting firefighters and hazmat crews in further danger, officials have determined that the safest course of action is to let the chemical reaction finish.

The EPA is assisting with air monitoring and technical support as the situation continues.

The danger has NOT passed. The 1-mile evacuation zone and 3-mile shelter-in-place order remain in effect.

Venting the tank could take 6-24 hours.

Residents must continue following emergency instructions and stay away from the site until authorities declare it safe.

This is an ongoing hazardous-materials emergency, and officials have not yet confirmed exactly when the release will end.

BREAKING: Iran now announces that any attack, joint or separate, by the U.S. or Israel will be treated as an all-out war, with a senior security official saying that Tehran has made a “definitive decision” to respond “without any limits or restraint” and has placed its military on the highest alert, per Press TV.

The warning comes as Netanyahu reportedly continues pushing for a strike on Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure before Israel’s October 27 election, despite Trump halting a planned multi-day bombing campaign at the last minute to avoid a wider war ahead of the U.S. midterms. Israeli media reports that Netanyahu is now weighing an attack without Washington’s backing.

Tehran is making its position clear: if Netanyahu launches a unilateral attack, Iran says it will treat it as a joint U.S.-Israeli operation and retaliate without limits or restraint.
