Great to meet folks in Douglas, Jackson, and Josephine counties for town hall conversations this weekend. These meetings and the ideas that Oregonians bring to them for how to make our state—and our world—a better place are critical to my work. Thank you to everyone who came out!

I want to hear what others are experiencing as TSA deploys facial recognition at airports across the country. Anyone who wants to share your experiences with this, please use https://t.co/RTLzz9uk83 to contact my office.
.@TSA says that the use of facial recognition is voluntarily. But the last two times I went through security, there were no signs that it was voluntary, and the TSA agent gave me hard time when I informed them of my right to opt-out.

The TSA is using facial recognition technology for a limited purpose that the agency says is accurate. But questions have been raised about whether the technology can be used fairly and how far it might spread in American life without true oversight. https://t.co/FIUbOWAXsL
@KelseaBallerini WHAT A STAR. I cried when I saw her take the time to treat our ADA section as VIP. She showed @brittfestivals & #Jacksonville#OR so much love! Her songs were amazing and moving, but to walk away with awe and respect for her is the best part of this concert! ❤️✨
These critical @forestservice investments will help provide local partners with the tools they need to keep our homes, businesses, and communities safer, while protecting public, private, and tribal lands in Oregon from devastating wildfires. https://t.co/FfwFxJnUYR
Thanks for visiting Oregon, @SecDebHaaland! I look forward to continuing to work with @Interior to protect communities across the state from wildfire, protect our public lands and waters, and ensure we're meeting our trust responsibilities to tribes. https://t.co/sFRcqBIrSQ
Wishing a prosperous and joyous Nowruz to Iranians and others celebrating in Oregon and around the world, welcoming the arrival of spring and the renewal and possibilities of a new year. Nowruz pirouz to all who celebrate!
We’ve seen three of the biggest Pharma companies make the long overdue choice to lower insulin prices—but we need to go further! Insulin should be affordable and available to everyone who needs it. https://t.co/Zq8aac3QEp
My company just listed on LinkedIn a job posting for what I’m currently doing (so we’re hiring another UX writer) and now thanks to salary transparency laws, I see that they intend to pay this person $32k-$90k more than they currently pay me, so I applied.
Serious question to people who lived through the era.
Was there as much controversy surrounding David Bowie wearing make-up and crossdressing as there seems to be in the current culture?
Don’t forget: Republicans blocked a $35 insulin cap for children to protect the profits of Big Pharma. Democrats will continue working to lower the cost of insulin for every American!
It's been about 6 months since I started a job in government.
The learning curve can be steep at first — especially if you're unfamiliar with the parlance of bureaucrats.
For the uninitiated, here's a 🧵 with some commonly used phrases and what they mean in plain English:
