@907Honest @ADoricko I just read an assertion that global warming is being attributed to lack of clouds. So if the clouds are being seeded to produce rain and therefore reducing the cloud layer, perhaps seeding the clouds is causing not only the warming but also the abnormal weather patterns.

Like everything else, depends. We generally don’t order chicken as we have that at home (beer battered rolled in panko for the breast, teriyaki for thighs, grilled etc). Our fav Mexican hole in the wall makes their own tamales with beef, pork, chicken or cheese. All are outstanding choices. Usually there is something more appealing than the chicken dish when we go out.

Hubby is 92 had the surgery in the Spring. His doctor prescribed drops on of which over $400 copay. I searched the internet & was able to get it at a different pharmacy for under $50. Other than the drop schedule and the price of the one prescription, he’s been happy with the results. Our Medicare plan would not pay for the laser version of the surgery. We self payed the laser version as the recovery time and risks are less than the traditional scalpel surgery.

Although more expensive the portable AC units, in my view, are better to have then the fixed window units. Having had both for a second home in Montana, the window unit was a pain to put in and take out. Battery operated mister fan for outdoors (the ones from home improvement stores designed to sit on 5 gal bucket are great).

This relates to refundable tax credits, such as the 2k Child tax credit, earned income credit. What was happening was foreign folks working here legally were claiming credits for children not residing in US. Illegals working on fake ID rarely pay income taxes. With computer matching the IRS lops the illegals income onto the legimate persons (victim) income. The victim gets to prove they didn't earn those $$$. It's a mess for the victim.

We have battery mister fan. Generally used for sports during summer but had to use it indoors once. Things got damp yet it cooled the room to high 70’s vs 90+. It’s my backup for power failure or ac unit going out. Sorry you don’t have backup on site. Hope you have found relief for your family including the fur babies.

@HarmeetKDhillon Looks good. This year I started microwaving corn before shucking. What a time saver & so much easier. Need kitchen mitts, a good knife to cut the bottom (cut just where the kernals begin). Beats boiling water or even pressure cooking after shucking.

Correct, even super small cities. Many a contractor told their bid was ‘too low’. If they raised the bid, still didn’t get the job. The bid raising was to enable the contractors in on the grift to be the winning bid. Keep the bid low and disqualified for various & sundry reasons.
