It's surreal to be part of a something like this! also i have a job whoa thats kinda cool!
Proud of the team for making it this far! Finally seeing how excited people are makes it all worth it.
Welcome to Interwoven - a bite-sized, but dynamic adventure inspired by traditional turn-based JRPGs!
Follow an unlikely trio on their journey to defeat the Obsidian Drake, using the Augment Battle System to give their moves all sorts of effects!

Game Dev Log 34:
ugh, it's almost been a month. thats life, but we back
Revised the intro + title screen - featuring our new Interwoven logo and background art! The art/logo is all thanks to @funplings, check him out!!

Game Dev Log 33:
Not quite polished yet, but finally updated the battle status menu! It's starting to get there
Also fixed HP UI bug - used to leave an annoying sliver outside the bar boundary.
And added A/B/C to repeat enemies to distinguish themπ

@JaeJaeAgogo Turn order is determined by the speed stat! there might be augments that affect ordering tho π«
rather, this change is important for turn planning
Game Dev Log 32:
Woooooo, barely got this done tonight, but added in the ability to switch between characters when picking moves! This is a hugely important change for the gameplay experience.
Took some effort to get the visuals responsive tho π

Game Dev Log 31:
Finished up rebinding! Biggest challenges were persistence (save/load) and auto-swap on bind conflicts.
Had some extra time, so got a prototype for device-responsive UI doneπ

Game Dev Log 30:
This one took a minute, but finally got a stable version ready - Control Rebinding! I'm really happy I got this in to accommodate various types of players (i.e. left-handedness).
Got a couple small fixes to make still, but proud of this!

Game Dev Log 29:
Interwoven (ignore the logo LOL) went on a bit of a hiatus when I started work, but everyone at #GDC got me inspired to get the project across the finish line ASAP!
Options/scrolling menu had a couple bugs, so got those ironed out today.

Game Dev Log 28:
Second, I graduated college and have started work at @SuckerPunchProd as a gameplay programmer!!
It's already been so much fun and I'm even more excited for the future - seriously blessed to be working here π
Game Dev Log 27:
With GDC, I'll hit two things I should posted before.
First, I did a TON on Interwoven (formerly Synergetica) last semester, too much to list out.
So I'll just leave a trailer π₯π₯ - serves as a solid highlight reel!

Thanks soooo much to everyone who playtested Interwoven tonight!!! It was amazing seeing people finally try it out (and actually having fun π).
I'll be showing off more in future tweets + Steam page release soon!
If you end up following me cuz we met at GDC yo
This Twitter has been dead for a minute, but ima release a game titled "Interwoven" pretty soon, check it
Game Dev Blog 26:
I hope I can start up daily posts again, but it's been a lot of code lately, so there's not much visual work to show off.
That said, I checked how much code I've written for Synergetica.
And it was 16,641 lines of C# π³
i had no clue lol
