@AbdulHaleem_26 @apostateofallah Jesus's human essence died, not his Godly essence, but since according to Christain theology, you cannot separate the 2 essences, it can be said, the person of God the Son did die. The Father and the Holy Spirit are not the Son, but all 3 are equally God.

Jesus is the God-man, and is unblemished by sin and perfect in every way. He doesn't lie nor does He have need of repentance. In fact, like God, He forgives all sins and accepts repentance for all men.

God doesn't lie like men, as He is not a man. Christ is also not just a man, he is also God. Secondly the incarnation is after the Old Testament, which Christ fulfilled.

"I Am" doesn't mean "was", He Is. Jesus claims this multiple times, and which is why the Pharisees tried to kill Him.
