How are girls expected to love their bodies when they grow up watching their mothers constantly bashing their own size, shape, complexion, etc? The best thing you can do for your daughter as a mother really is to just shamelessly love and accept your body.
I have no experience as a mother, but as a daughter to watch my wonderful mother and her friends talk down on their bodies as just a regular part of conversation, it makes me so sad that our society trains us to constantly want to “fix” our appearance as if it is broken by nature
