@InsideArsenal89 Barcola has bags of pace but, based purely on that game, didn't show any composure when in good positions. Kvara was tidy on the ball but didn't offer much, but PSG didn't offer much, lots of sideways passing, not much penetration leading to poorly executed frustrated long shots
@HLTCO The early goal definitely impacted tactics, not just us but PSG also. I don't believe that was our plan, can't sit deep and counter without any pace up top. No issue with defending but still need to offer a threat, we couldn't find that balance until they scored.
@markgoldbridge I think the early goal didn't help. He picked a side to contain and control. Not defend and counter (no pace). The early goal dictated how PSG played. We needed Martinelli, Gyokeres, Madueke and Timber on earlier, while still leading. Defend yes but still offer a threat.
@jamesbenge Over thinking from Eze. Never looked convincing. Keeper not moving shouldn't matter. Just put it either side, he's not getting down to it - like Rice's pen
@jamesbenge They should scrap extra time. Just go to pens before the players are knackered. Instead of 5 volunteers, why not all 11 take a pen (orr until one team can't win). It's a team game after all so all should be ready to take one.
@Arsenal Disappointing end. Hoping it'll make Arteta revisit his tactics. Defend yes but we need to offer a threat. We used to be more attacking, now it's overly defensive. He needs to find the balance
@Arsenal Why oh why didn't we play more like that when winning, defend yes but you still need a threat. . Having pace made a difference. Timber and Noni played were such an upgrade
@jamesbenge If timber can play why wasn't he on a few mins earlier? Gyokeres and Martinelli should've been on at half time. Playing deep on the counter you need pace
