Today we joined fellow Kenyans in the march to honour the lives of women, girls and children lost to violence and to demand urgent action against femicide, sexual violence and the growing cases of children being abused and killed.
Enough is enough.
#EndFemicideKE
Every day, more reports emerge of children going missing, being sexually violated, abused or murdered across the country.
One child missing is too many.
One child violated is too many.
One child murdered is too many.
Protecting children must stop being a side conversation, it is a national emergency.
PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!!
Reports circulating online claim that the woman killed along Kirichwa Road in Kilimani yesterday evening was allegedly attacked by her boyfriend, who is said to have followed her without her knowledge before the incident occurred.
Cases like these continue to remind us that violence against women is not caused by locations, apartments, flights or lifestyle choices. A person determined to commit violence will do so anywhere.
This is Femicide.

BREAKING NEWS:
The Kericho High Court has ruled that John Chebochok is unfit to hold public office in Kenya.
It is a significant win for survivors from tea plantation communities whose voices are often ignored, dismissed or silenced.
For many of them, this ruling represents recognition, validation and a step toward restoring dignity after long struggles for accountability.
