@flashgolding @mrdavidwhitley Exactly the reason my daughter went to private school. I taught full time in the state system, we had ancient cars, no holidays, 1 ancient TV and did without lots of other things to pay the feesbutvit was worth every penny.
@SeamstressThe Little or no interest or experience. Certainly in primary schools very few of the teachers will have been taught to sew themselves so have no idea. I trained in the 70s and taught Needlework till the mid 90s when all schools in this area took it off the timetable π‘π‘π‘
@SeamstressThe Is sewing is still taught in a school the chances of it beyond by a qualified teacher is remote. There are very few universities teaching textiles/sewing and even fewer doing courses that would transfer to teaching. It tends to be grouped under DT and taught by people with .....
