The science of fighting is all about inflicting damage. That's what determines the odds of winning. There is no way for the men to inflict damage on the gorilla without deadly weapons. None at all.

For context, Francis Ngannou would knock almost any human being out with one heavy punch, while an average gorilla would quite literally crack open your skull with one heavy punch. They can EASILY rip human limbs off, and can swat human beings away (up to a distance of 10 feet or more) with a swing of their insanely powerful and heavy arms. Let's not even get to their teeth.

All those strong men and their strong hits won't break the gorilla's skin or affect its bone, it'll be like you being attacked by 4 year olds. Their hits will annoy you, but there will be zero damage.
They also have almost 4 times the lung capacity of humans if not more, meaning they will still be standing LONG after the men are all tired, injured, and/or dead.

100 STRONGEST men vs 1 gorilla, 100 men die. Brutally and viciously. Probably all under 20 minutes as well.
