@LifeInWales@PaulAbbandonato@FAWales There's certainly a vocal lot from both sides that can't put allegiances to one side during Wales games. It's got worse in recent years, but doesn't help when this sort of nonsense is written in the national newspaper
@Hye15H The sky commentators weren't at the game, they see what we see. He'd left his seat at that point, but doesn't mean he didnt come back. They never showed his seat again so think they were just assuming
@VitalSwansea@louorns Absolutely. We've been guilty of meaningless possession for years to be fair, but this season has been something else. What's even more frustrating is we actually have a squad capable of more now!
@VitalSwansea Watching that Tom Gorringe podcast, the off the field approach is light years away from the on the field stuff. Need to get a manager now who fits in with where there club is trying to go
@JordanWebber96 It's not just about winning, it's about showing there's actually a plan. Continuing to play this way and scraping a win will do nothing but paper over the cracks. I just don't think he has it in him to make us an attacking force
@thepaulwilliams If you alienate all those fans then who is going to take the next generation to games? I think it's quite naive to assume the next generation will just get behind merged teams. Coupled with the lack of games on free-to-air TV, the game will die a slow death
@rejectedtheoffa Yeah, there's no way they've pumped that money in to accept mid table. I just hope there's good football people advising them, I guess that comes down to Gorringe now!
@rejectedtheoffa Haha there's definitely an issue there. I think years of indifference from our owners has trickled down, but we've got to look to be more ambitious now
@rejectedtheoffa Scrutiny from journalists is one thing, but I'm more concerned with the lack of scrutiny from a huge portion of our fans. Half of them were singing his name at the end of that, are they seeing something I'm not?!
@egansmind I'm talking about our overall approach. Sticking two up top for 10 minutes is hardly the same as consistently looking to be on the front foot. The stats show how low we are in the league for creating chances
This squad is a lot better than what we're seeing. Sheehan deserves time, but there doesn't seem to be the desire to set up positively, and attack. This is the best squad we've had in years, and we create so little. If it wasn't for Vipotnik's form we'd be right down there
@jacks_are I feel like you have to give any manager a bit of time to try and implement what they want (when results aren't disastrous). My concern is I think he's a very defensive minded manager and I can't see it changing. It will take the fans to turn though as people seem to worship him
@FFCDrew1876 @FalkirkFC@onlyswanss Very well thought of, but been unlucky with injuries, so never really had a chance. Needed a loan for senior experience and I think he'll do well with you guys
One thing I will say, is that whatever happens with Sheehan (and I don't think he'll last long), I have every faith in Montague. Luckily we seem to be signing players to suit our traditional style, rather than whatever our current style is meant to be #swans
