I didn't set out to live a long life so I'm not entirely keen on wealth. If I seek money, it's merely to keep body & soul together as nature demands. But beyond that, my aspirations lean more towards adventure: to experience new people, sights, cuisines & the occasional romance.
Being a Kikuyu is becoming increasingly like being an endangered species. Your political stand does not matter. The government will never protect you. You are on your own.
Duale is still walking free.
Amos Kiingi is still free.
Aaron Cheruiyot is still free.
Hassan Omar is still free.
But Kaguchia has been arrested barely 24 hours after his statements.
The law is not applied equally.

Says someone who destroyed Moi University. Look at Daystar University how it's flourishing. Prof Laban Ayiro would have been the best VC for Moi University.
CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, As I turn 43 this year, I have realised, as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.
CRY, FOR OUR AFRICA!
If you look at many African countries on the day before independence & after, you will wonder what went wrong!
Ghana & Zimbabwe were highly developed with excellent education & transport infrastructure. And world class agriculture & mining. After independence, both have been downhill since.
Others like DR Congo, Liberia, both Sudans, Sierra Leone, both Guineas, Gabon et al have the most abundant natural resources in the world but what can they show us? Civil strife & abundant poverty. Only their leaders live in opulence with homes abroad. Some are Belgian citizens!
Nigeria with abundant oil & 300m people canβt even have running power or water supply. With so much arable land & many rivers, Nigeria imports tomatoes from Italy! Years ago, Thailand took palm oil trees seedlings from Nigeria. Thailand is now the world biggest palm oil producer. Nigeria once produced 40% of world palm oil; now zero!
South Africa, Namibia & Botswana have maintained their economies even after independence. South Africa is still Africaβs biggest & most advanced economy.
Ethiopia & Burkina Faso are the only countries where charismatic leaders forever transformed them in less than four years. Thomas Sankara in Burkina Faso & Meles Zenawi. With no natural resources, Ethiopia is poised to be in top 20 world economies by 2040!
Africa has refused to develop because after independence, we started revolving thieving leaders. Sankara & Zenawi died without having stolen One Dollar from their countries. And so was Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore. Transformative leadership is founded on moral character with no stain.
Africa has a long way to go!
