Here I question you again, @ShashiTharoor - When will you become our PM?
Further I reiterate - You are a phenomenal literary gem! Lucky to have met you...!

"¿Por qué has cambiado la contraseña? Mi familia estaba viendo una serie."
Le respondí:
"Te presté mi cuenta a ti. No abrí una sucursal de Netflix para toda tu familia."
Me dijo que estaba exagerando porque compartir la cuenta no me costaba nada más.
Le contesté:
"Entonces págala tú. Si no cuesta nada, tampoco debería molestarte pagarla."
@ZeptoNow@aadit_palicha@v0hra You all forgot that everything recorded in CCTV. I can understand that the delivery guy might be in need, and thus he stole but what's wrong with your customer care help? It's a rot! Very disappointed.
@ZeptoNow is a big time thief, robber and dacoit. I made an order, paid online and the delivery guy told my security that cash is to be paid. Without even calling me, he left the premises in a jiffy with the order. When I tried calling him, he kept cutting my calls.
@ZeptoNow To add to the stupidity, their useless help option, made me interact with useless executives named Aftab, Souvik & Sajjad. All three told me that they can't help in either refund or the order.
What a mockery @aadit_palicha@v0hra
You have employed a band of thieves! Shameful.
A friend just sent me this delightful Extract from the book "Fools and Infantrymen" by Lt Gen Eric Alexander Vas, Col of the 9th Gorkha Rifles, and former Eastern Army Commander. There could be no more amusing statement of the best of India's religious pluralism -- and the diehard secularity of the Army.
Over to General Vas:
"When an army commander first visits the various states under his operational jurisdiction, it is customary to pay courtesy calls on the state's governor and chief minister. During my first visit to one of the north-eastern states, the Chief Minister held a public function and in his welcoming address said that the people should now feel safe as "the new army commander is a Christian".
"In my reply, after expressing thanks for the welcome, I reminded the public that my predecessor was a Jew; what he had done for the state would be difficult for me to match. I told them that military commanders operate according to military tasks laid down by the government, and we are not influenced by individual considerations of language, religion, or caste.. In conclusion, I said, "I was born a human being, by tradition I'm a Hindu, by training I'm a Catholic, by temperament I'm a Muslim, morally I'm attracted to Buddhism, and every time I have to shave I wish I was a Sikh."

Mumbai, Maharashtra: On Centre appointing Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth as the next Chief of the Army Staff, Major General (Retd) G. D. Bakshi says, "This is an excellent choice. He is a very experienced, decorated officer from the Armoured Corps, from the 17th Poona Horse, one of the most famous regiments, which is called the 'Fakhr-e-Hind,' which the Pakistanis also call 'Fakhr-e-Hind.' And after 30 years, we are getting a Chief from the Armoured Corps, the last one was General Shankar Roy Chowdhury, and before him was General B.C. Joshi.
"My wife and I had retired from Punjab National Bank. Unfortunately, she passed away 10 years ago. We had planned to travel the world using our PF and savings, but that dream remained unfulfilled. After her death, I no longer felt like travelling anywhere. I decided to donate half of the money we had saved for our dream journey to Indian Army so I donated Rs 25 lakh to Indian Army...Perhaps this will give me the same happiness that travelling with my wife would have given me..." ~ Shrikant Sahasrabuddhe.
Imagine being so talented you could make marble appear soft to the touch. Gian Lorenzo Bernini was only 23 years old when he created this breathtaking masterpiece in the 1600s.
Gian Lorenzo Bernini was just 23 years old when he finished The Abduction of Proserpina in 1622. Widely regarded as one of the greatest achievements of the Baroque era, the sculpture is celebrated for making solid Carrara marble appear remarkably soft and lifelike. Its most famous detail depicts Pluto’s fingers sinking into Proserpina’s thigh, creating the astonishing illusion of flesh yielding under pressure.
Through dramatic movement, deep shadows, and exquisitely polished surfaces, Bernini transformed rigid stone into what seems like flowing fabric, delicate skin, and even tears. Today, this extraordinary display of artistry and emotion can be seen at the Galleria Borghese in Rome.
