@SoundingBoardEp@DrinkWiseAus If not covered in the main body, at the AFL HOF dinner, how does Mitch Brown receive an invitation and Mike Sheehan doesn’t??🤔
Nights like the Hall of Fame are bigger than any one person. A bit of Respect for the occasion, some respect to the dress code and respect the people who built the game. Not hard, 364 other days of the year to express yourself…
The Vida Fund lists Brittany Higgins as their Executive Director despite recently declaring bankruptcy after she lost a defamation lawsuit.
Under the Corporations Act 2001, a person who has declared bankruptcy is forbidden from managing a corporation.
Furthermore, attempts to skirt these rules by changing titles and acting as a 'Shadow Director' are a criminal offence under the Act.
Given the already published media, ASIC should be investigating whether Brittany Higgins is skirting bankruptcy law by acting as a director of this new corporation.
@RalphyHeraldSun Is the AFL also accepting that their FIXturing last year was diabolical on a Thursday night.
Essendon and Carlton nearly every Thursday, was shambolic.
Stations could re run MASH and Brady Bunch for bigger audiences this year.
Don’t criticise HQ though!
🚨 ABSOLUTE DISGRACE UNDER ALBANESE.
A 50 year old Mongolian man, Amarbayasgalan Yondonlodoi, has been charged with raping a 17 year old girl in a DiDi rideshare in North Sydney.
He should NEVER have been in Australia.
Home Affairs rightly rejected his family’s dodgy joint student visa in 2023, his wife wasn’t even a genuine student.
But Albanese’s weak immigration system let the Administrative Review Tribunal overturned that decision in January 2026.
Now this predator was free to prey on a child.
This isn’t “compassion”
This is reckless incompetence that puts Australian girls at risk.
Albanese’s border policies are a sick joke, importing risks while ignoring our own people’s safety, time and time again.
How many more kids have to suffer before this government is held accountable?
Share if you’re furious.
Australia deserves better.
Australian Taxpayers will be funding an Indian government owned renewable energy company.
This Indian company has been guaranteed a quarter of a billion dollars, despite it having no connection to Australia or businesses here in Australia.
STOP PAYING
Why the hell are Aussies funding India?
Our own people are suffering, starving & are living on the streets.
Aussie taxpayers (which are 70% White) need to STOP funding this corrupt, traitorous LABOR Government.
What are we even doing?
This is insane.
The Australian government are supposed to be public servants but they don’t work for us, they are using us as tax cattle to fund the entire world & foreigners while neglecting, exploiting & abusing us.
CALL AN ELECTION NOW
Enough is enough.
I will not be lectured about sexism and misogyny by these women. I will not.
The public will not be lectured about sexism and misogyny by these women—not now, not ever.
@BradKlibansky Play each team once, then the next year play at the opposite venue.
Standard of overall game including officials has deteriorated and the talent pool is going to be diluted further.
Might better the standard and then more 👀 on TV’s.
@BobBurn97207272 After watching the Spotlight program Sunday night I cannot understand how any decent person with just a modicum of respect for our planet could be involved in this vandalism of our farming land. Makes me wonder how this POS can sleep at night.
Farmers are HOLDING THE GATE, and the video is going viral for all the wrong reasons. A corporate rep from the $11.4 billion VNI West power line project rocked up to a family farm in regional Victoria. Not police. No warrant. Just a high-vis employee demanding access to destroy 6th and 7th-generation farmland.
When the farmer stood silently behind his own fence, the rep pulled out the script: Section 93 of the Electricity Industry Act. Then the chilling line, “Anything you do or say may be used as evidence.” Peaceful. Lawful. On private property. Yet threatened like a criminal. This is the reality for farmers across Western and Central Victoria. Farmers Fightback’s Hold the Gate campaign started at a kitchen table and now has 25,000+ signatures. It’s not just about one power line, it’s about whether anyone still has the right to say NO on their own land.
Watch. Share. Stand with them
In Amsterdam, a ‘Queer for Palestine’ wanted to be part of the protest but was told:
“Get out, we don’t want you here. We are Muslims and you disgust us. You have no place in our cause.”
LGBT who support Palestine have to be the dumbest people ever!
It's not the lie that bothers me, it is the insult to my intelligence.
To solve the problem pictured below, the government has invented the cause in their mind. A cause that barely exists and is not taken particularly seriously by the Australian people - namely the NSN or Neo Nazis.
I am not here to defend them or their ideology, let me make that abundantly clear.
But for the government to ban speech they don't like, or to ban political groups they don't like, and to weaponise their position of power against a political movement in the name of social cohesion, is one thing - and not necessarily a good thing.
For them to act as though legislation that is targeted at their wider political opposition - that had precisely nothing to do with the terror attack - will somehow solve the problems with social cohesion... now that is the insult.
A vile attack, perpetrated by a father and son, on unarmed civilians at a religious festival, in a targeted attack that was undoubtably an attack on Jewish people.
That is beyond doubt.
But it was not perpetrated by the hapless Neo Nazis and the White Australia crew.
It wasn't perpetrated by conservative Australians, or those that line up as classical liberals.
It was not perpetrated by libertarians, or any of the others that oppose the Labor government to their right.
But that is precisely who will be targeted by these attacks on speech, assembly and association.
You might think that is fine, because you are not that way inclined. But know this, they will not stop at those groups. At some point everyone, and everything that is not positively in support of their ideas, will be the enemy.
It is a dangerous move by a desperate Prime Minister, who is losing more and more popularity by the day.
Many Australians have had enough of the mass immigration, forced "multiculturalism", and other 'modern Australian' ideas.
Because the real social and economic problems in this country don't get addressed, they get ignored.
This new legislation will only add pressure to the political frustrations Australians have, and adding pressure adds heat.
What's worse, it is rather obvious that the legislation, like the government's rhetoric will not only ignore the real problems, but it will also enable them.
Social cohesion cannot be mandated...
and lies can't be squeezed into truth.
Political movements often form as a reaction to the status quo.
The worse the status quo - the more those movements strengthen.
The Australian government must see a future where things become much worse.
There are things that they can do to make them better, but they don't want to do those things, or they don't know how to.
So rather than do the hard things and address the real issues head-on - acting in the best interest of the majority of Australians - they will simply make speaking out and organising against the government illegal.
But surely in a democratic country, organising politically and speaking out are basic rights.
Evidently not in 'modern Australia'.
We must fight this, even if we don't agree with the views of those we fight for. That is the essence of our democracy and the key to a fair go.
We must use our voices while we still can.
I just want Australia back.
