@UMassFootball Offensive line in first half showed great run blocking. Problem appeared to be everything else. We need an FBS passing game that would help Coach Brown’s D. Can not rely on a “wild cat” QB who can not pass. Kids played hard. Need more talent. Hope to see improvement. Hang in.

@FightMA247 Sorry to disagree. This schedule might be fine for Year 1 of Martin regime. It may not be in Year 2, and def not Year 3. Will need to be more challenging for program and exciting for fan base to get program back to a top 25. Remember Cal’s motto “play anyone anywhere.”

@ShamsCharania Let Tony Schena monitor him, instead of all the “doctors” tweeting. He has done most of my 6 meniscus surgeries and is a capable guy. He is current Celtics team Orthopaedic. Danilo will probably play in NBA for no more than several yrs. Danilo should not have played in Italy!!

@LouMerloni John Henry and his adopted son, Chaim Bloom should be in HOT water. Both have ruined the Red Sox the last few years and why fans support a minor league team on field is beyond me. Reminds me of Lou Clinton, Don Buddin, Pumpsie Green etc of the Tom Yawkey fiasco regime!

@FightMA247 Being a UMass Alumnus, I prefer kids who are committed to UMass both athletically and academically. I was never given a “free ride” to UMass and am as committed to UMass as I was in 1971. Not sure what Tristen was ever committed to. Coaches & future teammates want committed only.

@CurryHicksSage We had the Commonwealth Classic with a packed TD Garden (Fleet Center) in 1996 I believe, with half of the tickets sold to BC and other half sold to UMass. It was loud and exciting. Unfortunately, it proved to be short lived. BC & UConn keep changing ADs and coaches. EGO issue.
