@arrivamidlandsE You seem to be fundamentally incapable of getting nurses from Ratby to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester. Thanks for your amazing contribution to the smooth running of the country.
@stwater Hi - not to worry - I managed to find the chat function on your site and they helped me find the right number to call. It is pretty hard to contact you, though. Especially if you don't like conducting business in public on Social Networks
@criticalsenses I watched this and thought of you during the 'digitising old reel-to-reel tapes that had been in a box for 40 years' parts... :) https://t.co/1Ml4zcthkx
@NeilSJefferies @EdithHalvarsson@e_stanf ... but on the flip-side, version control has been a part of computing since 1972, nearly ten years before the 'paperdigm' came along and royally encouraged everyone (archivists in particular) to think of 'files' as 'bits of electronic paper'. :(
@marycktech Well for a start I just have. For another thing, I don't really use Twitter than much any more, though I expect I might start doing again, if I can keep it work-related.
@tzijlstra@mikehurst My word Reading were pants yesterday. All it took was for one of your players to be vaguely arsed about winning and you scored three. Most of your squad apart from Forestieri were on the beach already. All of ours either had no confidence or just weren't very good at football.
@euanc Needs the following logic added: Is the disc from a Nuclear Submarine? If so, it's still using XP: https://t.co/SElyKET6ac ... PS - start hoarding tinned food.
@tzijlstra @DrGInTheLibrary I've been saying since finishing my PhD that I'd set one of the free / distributed ones up for my mates to use. https://t.co/8vrA0DnhP0 - however, leaving Facebook and never hearing from anyone proves I don't have any mates, so...
@tzijlstra @DrGInTheLibrary Naive? It's as much an exercise in 'revenue by Silicon Valley investment' as Facebook is, just not as good at it. That's why they'd rather risk people getting fried unnecessarily by shiny missiles than delete the account of the 'engagement magnet' that is our Orange Overlord. :(
