I never said people in the old testament were saved. I said some people were Declared "RIGHTEOUS".And Romans 4 and Hebrews 11 clearly mentions it.

They couldn't enter the rest because they didn't believe the gospel. We all agree that Christ is the substance, but that was their gospel to believe to be judged by God. So the Gospel was there to reject or accept.
