We have been protesting peacefully and asking for intl’ help since the very start but more and more innocent civilians were brutally abducted, tortured or killed. After 7 months, it is too much for us to take in therefore we shall handle the fight ourselves now.

Children and the elderly make up a large proportion of people taking refuge in camps in northwest Myanmar to escape fighting between the junta’s army and insurgents https://t.co/hRs60na5D3 #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
It rained all morning today. The first thing that crossed my mind was “it should be better for the detainees in prison who are living with no air conditioning” but at the same time I worry for those who are hiding in the jungles with no proper shelter. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
#NUG welcomes the People’s Defence Forces across the country; thanks to everyone participating in keeping all #Myanmar citizens safe. #PDF is a firm step towards #FederalArmy
It has been 25 days since they’ve taken you away from us but we’re still fighting together till the very end. Happy birthday, you brave soul. I wish you were here with me at home. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
Seems like the boys haven’t heard about their daddy agreeing not to use violence against civilians at the ASEAN meeting #whatshappeningnowinmyanmar#ASEAN
@DrSasa22222 My house was raided by the military and three of my family members were taken away. It left a big trauma to me and my family because it was truly a very horrifying night. I do not want any of our civilians to experience that. Please help us! @ASEAN@SchranerBurgen1
Khin nyein thu, 19 year old, was told to spread her legs and then they hit her female organ to the point where she would bleed. They rode on her shoulders and pulled her hair. We strongly condemn any kind of abuse on our civilians. @SchranerBurgen1#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
3 of my family members were abducted and 2 of them are women. I see women getting raped or getting verbal sexual abuse by those terrorists. I say this with a heavy heart but i am worried of what might be happening to my family too. @freya_cole@SchranerBurgen1@poppymcp
Over 45 women & girls are reported to have been killed since the beginning of the crisis in #Myanmar & hundreds arrested incl. several women civil society leaders & journalists. UN Women reiterates @UN SG’s call for the immediate cessation of violence & release of all detained.
The Myanmar junta's crackdown on civilians has displaced close to a quarter of a million people. The country is at the brink of complete collapse.
Action against the junta must be taken immediately.

Junta publicly showed the students they illegally arrested and tortured. This is only 6 out of approximately 3000 people they arrested. They are even shamelessly showing these on state TV, what are you doing? @UN#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar@freya_cole@clarissaward@poppymcp
Remembering how Yangon used to be at Thingyan. Wishing strength to all friends in Myanmar at this devastating time and that peace, happiness and freedom come to all. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
My aunt and uncle, well known actors from Myanmar, has been detained at 3:30pm on 9th April after so many circumstances happened when the military raided our house in the middle of the night at 12am, 9th April. They have been detained for speaking out as a civilian. @freya_cole
Somebody tell them it’s Northern Ireland not Island. How are they going to take over when they don’t even know what they’re doing. This is a hilarious yet an unacceptable mistake. @freya_cole@BorisJohnson#WhatsHappeninglnMyanmar
