Bat ganoon ?
#TIXforTeamAnGuel
Iโm really curious what happened halfway, coz before airing the writers are excited, everyone in the team was excited. Hindi isasangkalang ng mga to ang craft nila para sa ganitong outcome
nakakalungkot, nakaka dismaya, Iโve been trying to be positive pero ala. una nag announce ng PNG para sa CH, then biglang may YMFS. then biglang naging AMD ang PNG at hindi na para sa CH. kahit nagmukang pampalubag loob yung YMFS go pa rin kasi at least meron, tapos ganito lang

Hahahha #heathjornales#capricecayetano#capeath#ymfs
Okay, let's be objective.
The series was marketed as the first Capeath team-up. From the teaser, trailers, promotional materials, and exclusive contents, Capeath talaga ang main selling point. Naturally, people tuned in expecting that the story would revolve around them.
Now, yes, Gelix scenes trended. Walang issue doon. But let's not ignore the fact that Anguel scenes also consistently trended. In fact, kapag may official polls, sila ang laging nananalo. And isn't that exactly the purpose of polls. .to measure public interest? They're literally telling you what the audience wants to see.
So if the audience keeps choosing Anguel, bakit hindi sila ang binigyan ng mas substantial scenes? Instead, parang laging bitin. It's confusing because the data is already there.
And please don't say na "hindi kasi pang-drama si Heath." We already saw him deliver during his confrontation with his dad. That scene proved he can handle emotionally heavy material. So that argument doesn't really hold anymore.
Another thing... are we still even following Angel's dreams and bucket list? Kasi honestly, parang hindi na. The story has shifted so much toward the redemption arcs of other characters that the original premise feels like it's been pushed to the sidelines.
Even the title, "You're My Favorite Song," is starting to feel disconnected from what's actually happening in the story. If the big reveal all along was about Angel's father, then sana mas nabigyan din siya ng proper development and enough scenes to make that storyline feel earned. Right now, it just feels like the narrative keeps jumping from one subplot to another.
And ito yung pinaka-point ko.
Kapag sinabi mong "first team-up," hindi lang naman ibig sabihin na magkasama sila sa poster or sa promotions. The story itself should highlight that partnership. The emotional core should be centered on them. That's what people were sold.
At this point, it honestly feels like Heath has become more of a marketing tool than the actual focus of the story. Ginamit siya to attract viewers, but once people tuned in, the narrative shifted elsewhere.
Maybe that's also one reason why the ratings haven't reached the level that many expected. Yes, tumaas sila, and credit where it's due. But compared to the expectations, and considering the hype of this being Capeath's first project together, it still hasn't matched the impact that many thought it would have.
And you know why I think that is?
Because people aren't getting what was promised.
For weeks, I've been telling everyone, "Wait lang tayo, baka gaganda pa. Baka sa next episodes magpi-pick up na." I kept giving the show the benefit of the doubt.
But we're already three weeks in. This should've been the point where the plot thickens, where the main story gains momentum, where viewers become even more invested in the leads.
Instead, many are still waiting for the story they were originally told they would be watching.
At the end of the day, people aren't asking for fan service. They're simply asking for the series to deliver the premise and the pairing that it was marketed around. That's a reasonable expectation, especially when that was the biggest selling point from the very beginning.

*Iโm tired of sharing my thoughts tho. . pero sige wait padin tayo?
For me ang pnka disappointing bilang fan ng Capeath, hnd ung storyline, quality ng series, o qng sinong tandem ang matunog ngaun, actually ung false(paasa) marketing na gnwa ng GMA, nbulungan nmn aq last may pa, pero sb q bgyn muna sila ng benefit of d doubt, kaso strike 2 na kau
