400M - 48.22 - His fastest indoor time
4x400 - 3:13.95 - 4th fastest at FHSU
600y - 1:13.48 - Earlier this season - 7th fastest at FHSU
I missed Avrey's first indoor meet results last weekend at Washburn.
He finished 3rd overall in the 400 with a time of 48.86.
He tied a personal best of 6.90 in the 60M.
Good start to the season!
These four Fort Hays State University men are All-Americans in the 4x100 after placing 7th at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships. All four are from KS 3A schools. Drew Tolar (Cheney), Avrey Albright (Kingman), Toby Wahlmeier (Concordia), Hayden Albright (Kingman). They also broke the school record by running 39.71 in the prelims. #sportsinkansas
Congrats to the FHSU 4x100 team! They qualified for the Division II Outdoor Championships. They will compete in prelims on Thursday, May 22nd at CSU Pueblo at 5:55 CST.
This will be Avrey's 1st trip to Nationals and Hayden's fifth.
On Saturday at Nebraska Kearney, Avrey ran a personal best of 21.14 in the 200M which was good enough to finish 4th and qualified as a Division II national provisional time.
