Bengaluru people, barn owls are beautiful birds that are important for our ecosystem and pick on rats. Due to loss of natural habitat, they are trying to adjust in the city. However, they are harmless so please don't hurt them. If needed, call a wildlife rescue service like PFA.
An uncanny visitor surprised me resting on my plant rack! This barn owl usually flies around my locality in Jayanagar 4T block, Bangalore in the eve looking for rats and often screeches in the night. I was in awe to find it resting at my balcony.

1. Govt spends 6% of GDP on Education
2. Govt does NOT use public funds for Advertising
3. Ministers/MPs/MLAs use bus/metro once a week
4. MLAs inspect govt schools/hospitals once a month
5. MPs travel by train once a month in General

A small stroll alongside forests of Sakleshpur reveals the rich life that resides in Western Ghats. Each inch of the ghats is bustling with immense amount of life. It's beautiful, wondrous and most importantly, vital for ecological balance.
