@Rodriguezz59@s_ubbink@DHSgov 'accused'. And then the allegation was dropped.
So once again... no evidence.
"Hey, Rodriguez once diddled a 4 year old boy"
So, Rodriguez, why did you diddle a 4 year old boy?
'accused'. You're an idiot (in addition to diddling 4 year old boys)
@maddenifico If they were really the 'most brilliant investigative newsmagazine in network history', then it would be easy for someone to put the SAME TEAM together on another network and once again be the 'most brilliant'
So why isn't anyone doing that?
@Rodriguezz59@s_ubbink@DHSgov I suppose it's silly of me to ask you for proof of 'pedophilia' also
You're a typical whackjob... spew out whatever the latest conspiracy theory you hear on X... when asked for even the least little shred of evidence, switch to anothe conspiracy theory
You're a joke
@chriburn@colin_dunlap The 'point' was about the economics of HAVING BABIES. Pointing out that one can make choices that IMPACTS those 'economics' is not being a creep
It's pointing out that YOU have the power to affect your economics
"60 Minutes has refused to let me continue to inject my personal political biases in my stories. When I objected and told my boss he doesn't know what he's doing, he FIRED me!
They're all big meanies and it's all Trump's fault"
New statement from Scott Pelley:
“Last month, 60 Minutes lost its DNA when our entire senior leadership and two of our best on-air correspondents were cruelly fired without cause. Good people were silenced because they stood up for our audience. They stood for fairness against the forces of political bias; they stood for professionalism against chaos.
For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done. Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.
At 60 Minutes, we have fought harder than anyone knows to save the program that became an American icon. We owed that to our millions of viewers. I am deeply moved by the thousands of wishes we have received to “keep up the good fight.” Most of the men and women of CBS News are still in that fight. But now the collapse of values at the top has become untenable. The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable. The principles I hold dear are gone, and so I must leave as well.”
@benduchek@ZitoSalena "Destruction of the media" now apparently means that media is expected to be non-partisan and report on the news fairly
That's how it USED to be, and the full-throated partisanship exhibited by the media is IN LARGE PART why the media has such abysmal approval from the public
