@IamWPS @thevivafrei There are radicals who want a Civil War. They're called Trump supporters. They demand that Trump be accepted as the God-King of America or will gleefully destroy the country.
@SumoHooligans @338Canada@mattgurney "under their thumb"? While I'm not completely familiar with Albertan politics, the province isn't being oppressed. The biggest issue of contention seems to be the oil sands and pipelines, and despite popular myth Alberta isn't only the oil industry.
@stacksdomino@99Rocky99@Ampersa3982@EDenhoff War is evil, but this evil could end if Putin withdraws his invasion. And the West isn't feeding the war, we're giving Ukrainians a chance to survive. There's a difference between fighting in order to annex territory and fighting to stop conquers.
@DavidSp47913618 @IVAInitiative@RepBenCline Why do you think the mega-rich are better than everyone else? Why should people lose their healthcare in order for billionaires to increase their profits?
@DenyThemEssence@ShedBackwards@PeImeniPusha Yeah, calling bullshit on that "Guardian" article. There's no monuments to Nazis in Canada and Canadian police have no authority to investigate crimes elsewhere. Smells like Kremlin propaganda
@apocalypseos What growing influence? Russia has pissed away the influence they were building, to the point where even junior partners in their alliance system want nothing to do with them.
@GG37374104@Quea_Ali There's also unintended consequences for letting private companies do whatever they want, especially when they're taking advantage of people just so they can inflate their stock prices. The widening gap between rich and poor isn't a good thing.
@BillBenjamin18@JesseKellyDC Because they wanted to take a family picture and that was the best available option in the room? Not really any couches in hospital rooms.
