Suicide or Love Jihad?

A 21-year-old Nandini Bosmiya died mysteriously in Rajkot after being in a live-in relationship with a man named Aslam.

Reports claim that she committed suicide, with her last note being, “Papa, I am fed up with this life.”

She used to live with Aslam, a married man, in a live-in relationship. Aslam was already married to a co-religionist and also had a son. Despite opposition from the family, Nandini was living with Aslam in a rented flat in Rajkot.

Nandini’s family claims that she was being tortured by her family as well as by Aslam.

Her sister claims that Aslam kept her jewellery in the bank for money. She also claims that Aslam made her abort the child forcibly and get her operated.

Nandini was associated with AAP.

Another matrimonial trap for Hindu women by Islamists

A married man identified as Karim Rafik, who is the father of a 20-year-old son, posed as "Aditya Patel" on a matrimonial website.

He introduced himself as an MBA graduate, IT engineer, and business owner, backing these claims with forged Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, and even a fake death certificate of a late wife named Mittal.

Police recovered more than 8,000 photos and videos of different women from his phone, stored in 20 separate folders.

Police said Rafik specifically targeted widowed and divorced women who were actively looking for life partners and seeking companionship. To quickly gain their trust and build emotional intimacy, he posed as a childless widower living a lonely life. This carefully crafted narrative helped him establish emotional confidence and present himself as an ideal and sympathetic match.

Using various deceptive stories, including temporary business crises and urgent personal needs, he extracted substantial amounts of money and valuable assets, including a two-wheeler, from his victims.

Recently, the Kolkata Police arrested one Matiur Rahman, who allegedly posed as "Manik Roy" on matrimonial websites and trapped more than 15 Hindu women.

Back to back cases of matrimonial fraud involving fake identities are now being reported from different parts of Bharat.
