🇯🇴 Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan appears to have suffered major damage from Iranian strikes
Today’s satellite imagery shows a destroyed hangar and major ground disturbances across the apron, likely where US drones were housed. It also appears the runway was directly hit.
🎥🇮🇶 Drop Site’s Sarmad Jawad reports from the holy city of Najaf, where Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s flag-draped coffin crossed into Iraq today.
Iraqi officials estimate more than 3.8 million people attended the funeral procession, with local residents joined by crowds traveling from Basra, Muthanna, Maysan and other southern provinces, bringing traffic across large parts of the country to a standstill. Iraqi authorities declared Wednesday a public holiday in response to the influx. The procession will next travel to Karbala.
Jawad (@8Sarmad) reflects on the political significance of millions in a country the United States invaded, occupied and subjected to years of sanctions turning out in force for the leader of a state currently at war with the U.S. ⬇️

@SYED_A_L_I [At the shrine of Lāl Shahbaz Qalandar] “A few cried out Shia chants in praise of Ali: ' Ya Ali! Ya Haidri! or 'Ali Allah! Ali Allah!'”
The influence of shaivite practices still has a hold on the shrine of Lāl Shahbaz Qalandar ق, author writes:
Europe is resigned to paying Hormuz transit fees, per Bloomberg.
“Some leading European powers now accept that ships transiting the vital Strait of Hormuz will have to pay fees to Iran and Oman… Privately, some Gulf Arab officials hold the same view.”👇

It is only after converting to Twelver Shiʿism and seeking to curb the influence of the Qizilbash did Shah Ismail reportedly order a ban on the recitation of the Abu Muslim-nameh and even desecrate Abu Muslim’s tomb.
The obvious reason for such vehement opposition from the rationalist orthodoxy was the threat posed by the 𝑮𝒉𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 of appropriating 𝑰𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒎𝒂 and the Imams' attributes for their own messianic leaders.
There has been a massive battle in southern Lebanon with many IDF injuries. As a result Iran has suspended the MOU and Vance is not going to the treaty signing. The whole deal is at risk due to the continued Israeli occupation of Lebanon.
JD Vance's response to Israeli criticism of the MoU shows that there is another Iran gain coming out of this war. Before the war there was no daylight on Iran between US and Israel, now their positions are becoming night and day apart.
US & Zionist forces aimed to destroy Iran. Instead, they were forced to sign a document of surrender.
Iran has imposed the greatest defeat on imperialism since the Vietnam war. Great work by Pakistan in facilitating this agreement. A new world is being born in the East!
Here is why this idea that the Saudis or the Emiratis have access to the Hormuz weapon is wrong.
The issue is not that other states in the region cannot fire at tankers or other assets. IT IS THAT THEY CANNOT DO SO UNDER AN ALL-OUT ATTACK BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Iranian control of Hormuz and its military hegemony has to do with this fact — that disarming Iran is beyond the military means at the disposal of the US and therefore anyone else.
That is why Iran is a great power. That is why it will hold the Hormuz weapon for the foreseeable future. And no one on earth can do anything about it. This is a new world order and it is built on firm military foundations.
One possible explanation for the use of drums in mourning contexts is that the drumhead of the dhol is made from animal skin, and, in parts of South India, such instruments have traditionally been associated with funerary rites and the motifs of death in general :
In pre-modern Awadh, scholars such as Bihbahani and Sayyid Dildar Nasirabadi tried to suppress the practice, regarding it as an innovation in virtue of their purist outlook.
In response, some scholars wrote treatises defending the practice.
US accepts Iranian mechanism to counter Israeli ceasefire violations in Lebanon
——
The US government has agreed to a formal mechanism within its Memorandum of Understanding with Iran to address ceasefire violations by Israel in Lebanon.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi announced the provision via IRNA news agency, noting that Washington accepted the terms to guarantee a comprehensive end to regional hostilities.
The diplomatic development coincides with heightened coordination between Iran and Lebanon to enforce a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory. According to Iranian media, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri held talks with his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, emphasizing the urgent need for the international community to compel Israel to permanently halt its ongoing military aggression.
