🚨 The proceedings against the care home funded by David Sullivan and run by his partner could only be reported following a successful Open Justice appeal by @BylineTimes to be granted access to the court documents, which included witness statements. https://t.co/5qBVmLzaTU
It seems the main reason why David Sullivan was allow to keep owning West Ham right now despite being banned from women and kids teams is because the FA never actually bothered to tell the Premier League he was banned
This is a complete abject failure from the FA.
They DID IT! A massive hats off to all those amazing women who have finally stood up & exposed David Sullivan for who he truly is. Your bravery will never be forgotten. And massive kudos to Panorama and the Times for not bowing to his legal threats. ❤️

The Football Association was aware of serious historic allegations against David Sullivan but decided not to suspend him from his role at West Ham.
Sullivan resigned from his position as West Ham’s joint-chair yesterday, saying that he wanted to “apply my full energy and attention on fighting” accusations which are due to be aired in a BBC Panorama documentary on Monday night.
Sullivan also stepped aside as a director of WH Holding Limited, the club’s parent company.

Been a while since I had a page lead in a UK national newspaper - always gives a little buzz - and pleased it is to finally start exposing the David Sullivan scandal. Plenty more to be said, especially about the failed care home for vulnerable teenage girls that he funded. #WHUFC
A lot of fans have done a good job putting pressure on Sullivan over the years but lets not be deluded, not a single fan can take credit for him stepping down.
The only people that can take credit are those brave people that came forward to the police. Lets just keep doing what we've been doing and put pressure on him where we can.
In what can only be seen as an incredible gesture, West Ham's Dinos Mavropanos has reached out to his former club Arsenal to offer FREE coaching sessions to their squad, especially Gabriel, on how to take a penalty.
Fair play to him!

Am sure Arteta can accept not getting the rub of the green as he realised “how difficult and big is the referee’s job” when the decision went Arsenal’s way against West Ham 😉
