The Scribe, a solo roleplaying / world building game about the aftermath of a devastating war, is my latest release. Go check it out.

Do you happen to know any good ttrpg's that are mostly about dragons and maybe dungeons? Or even maybe mostly about dungeons, and then dragons?
I'm totally NOT asking this for engagement. I'm just SO into ttrpg's that I have lost my ability to use search engines.
I just published a new blog post titled "Running a Sandbox TTRPG Campaign: Session 0 and Character Creation."
It's good stuff, I would say!

I wrote a blog post about planning for a sandbox TTRPG campaign. It's easier and faster than you might think, and it doesn't require that much work at all.

I wrote about a Finnish religious movement (OK, cult) called Heinoslaisuus. It is perfect material for any horror or investigator-themed TTRPG.

Stop putting so much pressure on game masters who are running their first games. You don't have to design the whole world or its history, and no, you don't have to have dozens and dozens of pages of notes about the story or NPCs.
Start small, so small that it feels embarrassing.
These are great #ttrpg's, go get them!
Tiny Dungeon Megabundle: https://t.co/XSR71GdcLA
Tiny series games are excellent for con games, one shots and short (or should I say... tiny?) campaigns.
1) Start with a clear goal: Before you begin, have a clear idea of what you want your story to achieve. Is it to entertain, educate, or inspire? Knowing your purpose will help you make decisions throughout the writing process. #WritingTips#Storytelling
Here are five adventure and campaign ideas for The One Ring TTRPG.

I just submitted "10 Things I Hate About CY" to URBN_LGND.exe game jam. 10 rumors / adventure seeds to spice up your game CY_BORG game. Check it out: https://t.co/mNsXrevlzj

I mainly use dark ambient / noise / drone.
Recommended stuff for game masters: Dark Sanctuary, Lustmord, Apoptose, Desiderii Marginis, Kammarheit, Eluvium, etc.

@Raven_quill I like The One Ring's approach. All that little stuff? Don't stress over it. The big stuff like weapons and armour and treasure? That's what you track and what counts against you.
@ChrisLeeRippee Well, I don't have anything against anyone planning "closed-ended" campaigns or stories. They are just something that I _personally_ don't enjoy.
I think it's all about expectations. The whole group needs to know what kind of game and narrative they have on the table.
The goal of an open-ended TTRPG scenario is to create a collaborative story with your players, rather than simply leading them through a pre-written narrative.
Obvious, but doesn't hurt to remind people about this every now and then.
