⚡If your hair stands on end and your skin tingles, lightning is about to strike. Take cover immediately!

Tornadoes are a violently rotating column of air in contact with the ground, associated with severe thunderstorms. The violet winds can range anywhere from less than 100 mph to 200 mph. #MSwx
Perhaps the most important thing to know about flash flooding, is knowing NOT to drive through flood waters. Most flood related deaths occur in vehicles. #SWPW#MSwx

Flash flooding occurs within a few minutes or up to 6 hours after excessive rainfall, with a dam or levee failure. Flash floods can wash out roads and destroy buildings and bridges. #MSwx

• Stay away from windows
• Listen to instructions, especially in dorms
• Cover your head and neck from falling debris.
