The current nonsense around Evie in Stellar Blade seems like a repeat of when the first game just before it released.

The usual suspects (who are not going to be playing the game anyways) making comments about how Evie looks like a boy or child. (When shes probably just modeled after a very youthful looking korean woman)

and I'm more than certain those same people pretending to be fans will be on this post as well arguing me down and projecting their accusations onto me.

The dev team and shiftup as a whole is better off not listening to these miserable chronically online wastes of space, just as they did the 1st game.

Anyways, Hope to see Eve, Raven and Lily again! Godspeed ShiftUp.

Honestly the constant discrimination against women who look younger/shorter, flatter or petite is gross and ironically mostly come from the people who tried to claim they were an ally fighting for female MC's in video games with GOW.

I've seen this happen for years with women of all races, but Asian women get it the worst and at this point it's starting to come off as just sugarcoated racism. If you see an adult Asian woman and think of children, YOU are the creep.

It was never about "fighting for female characters against the incels" it was about shaming people for not being interested in a game they are, they're more than happy to demean and call other women pedobait as long as it's an Asian woman or for a game they aren't interested in, and saying women who look like that attract pedophiles or lean into some creepy fetish is beyond insulting.

I don't think that Evie from Stellar Blade is a child, Asians have round faces, look at Maelle from E33 (she's 15/16) you can see the difference, Evie looks like a woman and not at the same age. It's the vibe.

I don't understand why people don't want Capcom to improve Steve's characterization. Luis Serra changed 180° and became one of the most lovable characters. I hope the same happens with Steve. Even though I don't hate him at all, I still want him to have better writing.

People making a big deal out of the new character from stellarblade and gotta make everything a debate. Aint that deep. Game is made by a korean company and they're gonna base their models off asian aesthetics. The times I have to constantly hear non asians say things about asian women are just racist and ignorant. You always hear it too: asian women are pedobating men or etc. Whether its our build or facial features.
