@MadForMaple@davidrmunson@EarthUncutTV Awesome! Remember seeing the same species when I was backpacking in Borneo and Taman Negara in Peninsular Malaysia. By the way, you have to visit Taman Negara! Elephants, tigers, leopards, tapirs, gaur, and 8 species of hornbills still present. Not too far from where you are.
@Struan_Tokyo@MadForMaple@EarthUncutTV Sounds like クイナ. We only usually see them as winter migrants around here in Kansai. Is this location north of Tokyo?
@Struan_Tokyo@MadForMaple@EarthUncutTV Yeah, they tend to stick to the canopy, especially the males when singing at this time of year. They’re a little easier to see at fruiting trees in autumn.
@MadForMaple Awesome! Wait till you get in there: pangolins, colugo, slow loris, mouse deer, diverse herpetofauna. Not to mention the arthropods and birds.
