🚨BREAKING: A British court jailed an ex-boxer for saying, on video, that young white girls are being raped by grooming gangs.

Derek Heggie, 41, from Carlisle, was sentenced to 10 months and two weeks for two YouTube videos posted in August 2024, during the unrest after Southport. One video had nearly 500,000 views.

The BBC reports the court heard that, in videos referring to Muslims, Heggie said “young white girls are being raped by these grooming gangs.” The judge called the comments ill-informed and potentially dangerous, and said he wanted them heard by many.

He pleaded guilty to sending a grossly offensive communication. Britain has spent years documenting grooming-gang cases. He still went to jail for saying it out loud.

I właśnie ten jeden szczegół robi tutaj największe wrażenie.

Volkswagen nie mówi już o „wyzwaniach”, „transformacji”, „dostosowaniu mocy produkcyjnych” czy szukaniu nowych modeli dla niemieckich fabryk.

Mówimy o planie, w którym produkcja ma zostać wygaszona: Emden i Zwickau w 2031 r., Hanower w 2032 r., a Neckarsulm w 2034 r.

To nie jest zamykanie przypadkowego zakładu gdzieś na peryferiach.

To jest Volkswagen symbol niemieckiego przemysłu.

I robi się jeszcze ciekawiej, bo zaledwie kilka dni temu CFO Volkswagena mówił wprost, że dla tych czterech lokalizacji nie ma obecnie ekonomicznie uzasadnionej produkcji, która mogłaby wejść tam po zakończeniu obecnych modeli.

Jednym z kluczowych problemów są ogromne różnice kosztowe względem innych europejskich fabryk.

Czyli mamy sytuację, w której Niemcy przez lata budowały swoją przewagę przemysłową na wysoko wykwalifikowanej pracy, eksporcie, taniej energii i ogromnej skali produkcji, a dzisiaj właśnie ta przewaga zaczyna się rozpadać.

I nie, to nie jest wyłącznie historia o samochodach elektrycznych.

To jest historia o kosztach produkcji, energii, płacach, regulacjach, konkurencji z Chin i przede wszystkim o utracie konkurencyjności niemieckiej lokalizacji jako takiej.

Niemieckie fabryki mają coraz większy problem z konkurowaniem z zakładami Volkswagena znajdującymi się w innych częściach Europy.

A Zwickau jest tutaj wręcz symbolem całej historii.

Fabryka została przecież jako pierwsza w grupie całkowicie przestawiona na produkcję samochodów elektrycznych.

Volkswagen zrobił dokładnie to, czego oczekiwano od niemieckiego przemysłu: zainwestował, przestawił zakład i postawił na elektromobilność.

A teraz właśnie ten zakład ma zostać wygaszony.

W Niemczech robi się ciemno. 🇩🇪

I chyba najbardziej ironiczne jest to, że jeszcze niedawno problemem było pytanie: jak szybko Niemcy przejdą na elektromobilność?

Dzisiaj pytanie brzmi:

jak szybko Niemcy będą jeszcze w stanie produkować samochody u siebie?
