@EVCurveFuturist@robert_rylander I live there and have two EVs. 90% of new cars sold are EVs. Bit of a drop off in winter performance, but loads of chargers and they’re still way better.
@TrulsBergNorge@oysteinbogen You’re repeating a Russian talking point that has been shown not to be true. They refused it because it would have meant capitulation and the end of freedom in Ukraine.
@TrulsBergNorge@oysteinbogen No, they didn’t have a choice. Their leaders chose what the Ukrainian people wanted, which was not to capitulate and give up their freedom to Russia. If Russia invaded Norway, we’d be left with the same choice.
@yarotrof Long term pain for Russia, but in the short term, is it possible this just pushes up prices and the hits the Russian oil companies but not the kremlin since they tax upon extraction, not sale?
@FredrikHjelm4 Interesting idea. To support it, look at Norway, similar in many ways to Sweden but with loads of natural recourses which they (we) have turned into cash. All of which means there’s no pressure to create anything.
