The 25 Nov 2022 marks 2 years since my lovely wife Trish passed away having battled with cervical cancer. Her cancer was missed in a smear test, like many others, and by the time we got a diagnosis, it was too far gone.

August 21st 2017 was one of the highlights of Trish’s life.
It was the first, and as it turned out, the only time that Trish would get to see ‘Totality’ - a complete solar eclipse.

Little did she, or anyone else, know that the cancerous cells that were growing inside her cervix because of a smear sample of cells being misread. Little did we know that the trip to Nebraska to see a total eclipse prove so memorable a few years later.
