@BeLiKeDime I think this is because NBA Live does not exist anymore.
2K became popular BECAUSE it was more realistic than NBA Live. It was always sold as a basketball simulation game. Then when Live (and NBA Street) disappeared, 2K took over and tried to please too many people.
