@TuathaIreland@AbartaGuides Interesting article. I’ll have to pay a visit to Kildare. It’s a shame we don’t know about the old pagan celebrations before the 10thC.. Have you any book recommendations for info on the old Gods, such as Brigit? Enjoy the parade.
@craftylotus @alan_m_bennett Lore of the Island is a great book, took me all over the UK. I recently picked up Folklore Myths and Legends of Britain. Thanks for the picture, always good to see what others are reading, I've added a few to my list.
A tailor had a lucky escape from a monster that lived in the church at Beauly leaving it's claw marks on the door frame, couldn't find them this time though
