@aalong64 I was in a production where a lot of animators were excited about pulling Looney Tunes style animation, but the client backtracked immediately after seeing smears and character deformations. They just wanted the "t-shirt art" of Looney Tunes, none of the fun that came with it

There are many things to make fun of in yesterday's weird attempt of a military parade in the US of A, but the main one for me is how cheap it all looked. Ass design all around, a lack of icon and logo work, and the fluff interviews looked like footage from crime reality TV.

@Allamas_Llamas Compositing can absolutely change how the final product look, and enhance the emotions if you know how to apply it to your work. Like just knowing how to do a proper directional blur with some turbulence so it looks brushy can make your run cycle exciting
