@carienimwa@lindahoguttu Cheap for you but not for millions of suffering Kenyans. Should have been even cheaper considering the amount of public fund wastage that goes on in this country. Please get your head out of your ass darling.
@Duke_of_Kaiboi @moneyacademyKE Now this stupid, selfish & backward mentality is what is the problem with this country. This reeks of nothing but rural-bred poverty.
@grok@Barapasaurus @BradtheBringer @greg16676935420@grok if you have 2 magnets with like poles facing each other, the magnets repel so if one huge magnet is stuck at the back of a truck with a boom suspending the magnet with the like pole near the other magnet then it'll theoretically push the truck forward, right?
@MRSMuruguu I can't even begin to fathom the level of stupidity in your tweet. @LarryMadowo has been airing issues which affect the voiceless Kenyans using the best platform possible. We are fortunate to have him doing this on our behalf. Our rogue government needs to be kept in check.
GTA San Andreas is 20 years old and it is still more detailed than games releasing TODAY. It's still insane what Rockstar managed to pull off on the PS2 hardware.
Here are 10 insane small & hidden details from San Andreas that prove it was ahead of its time. A Thread 🧵
20 years ago we released Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas.
The original plan was for the 3 cities to be on separate maps. The player would travel between the cities using trains and planes.
(Gta 1 and 2 also had three cities on separate maps)
Memory was very tight on the ps2 and with separate maps, the other cities’ skyline models wouldn’t have to be in memory.
It would also make it easier to have different police/ambulance/firetrucks for each city. Different pickups, weather types etc.
It would also be easier to contain the player until it was time for the next city.
It would also make it easier to organize the models on the DVD city-by-city which would help the streaming.
Just before the artists started working on the three maps, we had a final meeting at R* North in which we changed our minds and decided to go for a big map after all.
We still ended up doing city-specific pickups, police cars and weather.
Happy birthday San Andreas. You turned out all right.
